Lower Manaslu Trekking
The Manasalu trekking is become very famous because the mixture of natural, pilgrimage, ethnic cultural and classic historical diversity and it’s pureness to compare with other regions. That is the home land of the world wide famous army “Gorkhas.” where they were formed/found. We have museum about ‘The Great King P.N.SHAHA(founder of modern Nepal) and Gorkha troops’ inside the palace in Gorkha city and holy temple of Baba Gorakh Nath and Godess Kali(situated on1390m. the top of hill) about an hour hike from Gorkha bazar(the starting point of Manasalu trek). Manasalu is the name from Sanskrit word ‘Manasa’ has meaning of “Intellect soul/Himalayan spirit.”All mountains in Nepal, we are all Hindus and Buddhists respects them like their purity, holiness, place for yoga (to get spiritual power in super quite nature) on head of earth and source of holy rivers. After death all Hindus their long life story is going to ending in floating the ash of body into the river from mountain after cremation. We do practice that to get our goal to been in heaven according to mentioned in our Hindus philosophy.
Day 1: Kathmandu to Gorkha Bazar (840m.)
Day 2: Gorkha Bazar to Barpak village(1935m.)
Day 3: Barpak to Laprak village(2180m.) It takes 5-6 hour walk.
Day 4: Laprak to Singla(2325m.) takes 3-4 hour walk.
Day 5: Singla to Tatopani (Hotspring, 900m.) takes 4:00 hour all the way down.
Day 6: Tatopani to Lapubesi (850m.) takes 4-5 hour walking slowly down along the Budhi-Gandaki river.
Day 7: Lapubesi to Arughat Bazar (580m.) takes 6:00 hour walking little bit up and down trail until Liding than totally follow the new construction road to Arughat.
Day 8: Drive back to Kathmandu 7 :00 hour drive by private jeep/ public bus.
